Welcome everyone! My name is Dan, and I will try to write a short story about myself! Let’s start where I remember from around age 5. I was just a regular young kid who loved games and sports, anything to do with a bit of competition or adventure! So all my youth was LESS about school and MORE about sport!
Since age 5 I dedicated myself daily to a hobby/sport called Bowling,Won everything possible in the National tournaments. Multiple bronze, silver and gold medals during my U21 European and World Youth Championships representing my National Team.Finally, I haven’t played for over a year now…. While growing up and competing in the Pros, I discovered so many minuses about Bowling.
- It’s so expensive to play and compete for the pro levels that it’s not even worth going long term, you have to be lucky or a chosen one to get in the profits during your whole career! So basically if you are ranked number 50 in the world at bowling, you suck and dont even make your money back!
- How Boring it’s to watch, Because the organizators and the committee of Bowling Federation is full of old style boring personalities, so basically if you swear, you might get disqualified!
- How badly corrupt the Bowling Business from bottom to top! ( Money goes to the companies, and a small part to the players and let’s not talk about the joke in the sport where you have to make different difficulties for a left handed bowler compared to right!So after all the experience and then we had our lovely Covid Pandemic hit our world where it has screwed up the sport even more!
SO OFFICIALLY I DECIDED TO RETIRE FROM BOWLING AFTER PLAYING IT 20+ years.
Main reason is I don’t see any future in Bowling!
Besides Bowling life I did play many other sports just for fun & i always love pressure & adrenaline rush!
I have to skip my other life stories and leave it until I publish my book or movie before my death!
But otherwise my last 5 years have been like a rollercoaster…
In 2016 I was a very healthy, fit & young athlete until one night waking up and having huge pain and struggling to breathe!
End result: Collapsed Lung ( Pneumothorax )
2 Small holes which changed the rest of my life!!
Handicaped barely moving and breathing for months after operation!
It took much longer than I would ever have imagined to recover!
During my rehab, I had to get away from many addictions and problems, which was started by my unhealthy 7 year relationship and start over fresh, and hoping to be more mentally happier again…
Successfully I met my new Love of my life Mimi!
We have gone through so many Beautiful adventures together, moments to never forget!
Mimi has been with me in my lowest times to get back up and keep fighting & trying harder!
We have been working together as a team & both have happily relocated to sunny Spain during 2020.
2021 has been a quiet year with lots of ideas and plans!
We have been exploring & Touring around Spain with our motorcycle & really fell in love with riding & exploring new places!
So during this year we were thinking of an idea which is once in a lifetime ADVENTURE AND WE WANT TO SHARE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH EVERYONE!
